Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms
1 Package Pure Farmland Simply Seasoned Protein Starters
2 lbs. button mushrooms
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. green onion, chopped
4 oz. cream cheese
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, minced
Place Plant-Based Protein Starters in large skillet over medium-high heat. Break apart with spatula and cook until moisture has evaporated and product browns, about 12 minutes. Set aside.
Wipe the mushrooms with a damp paper towel to clean. Remove the stems and discard. Arrange the mushrooms on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Add the green onion and garlic to the pan of Protein Starters and cook for one minute. Add the cream cheese, 1/4 cup of the parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, and parsley to the pan and stir until well combined and the cream cheese is completely melted. Remove mixture from the pan to a bowl and set aside to slightly cool.
Stuff each mushroom cap with some of the Protein Starter mixture and top with the remaining parmesan cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
