OVERNIGHT BREAKFAST CASSEROLE
1 package Pure Farmland Savory Original Breakfast Patties
24 oz. frozen shredded hash brown potatoes (about 8 cups)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
12 large eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Meanwhile, add the sausage patties to a large skillet and cook over medium to medium-high heat for about 12 minutes until browned and cooked through. Turn occasionally to evenly heat. Internal temperature should be 175°F.
Add the frozen potatoes and cheese to a large bowl. Stir to combine. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs with the milk, salt, and pepper and pour the egg mixture over the hash brown mixture. Add the sausage patties on top.
Bake for one hour. The center should be set and the edges should be golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
*To make overnight:
Follow the recipe directions to assemble this casserole. Cover the dish and place it in the refrigerator overnight. In the morning, uncover the dish. Let it sit at room temperature as the oven preheats. Then, bake it the exact same way as listed in the directions. The cooking time is the same either way.
