Mushroom and Swiss Burger

INGREDIENTS

1 package Pure Farmland Simply Seasoned Protein Starters
1 tablespoon Burger Seasoning Mix (recipe below)
2 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic, minced
8oz button mushrooms, sliced
2 teaspoons soy sauce
4 slices swiss cheese
4 burger buns

For The Burger Seasoning Mix:
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon. onion powder
1 teaspoon black pepper

DIRECTIONS

Mix protein starter with burger seasoning mix (recipe below) and form into four patties and set aside.

In a sauté pan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add garlic and continue to cook over medium heat for 1 minute.

Add sliced mushrooms and soy sauce and continue cooking for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Heat grill or separate sauté pan to medium-high heat. Cook burgers for 10-12 minutes or until 175°.

Divide the mushroom mixture on top of each burger and cover with a slice of swiss cheese. Continue to cook over medium heat for 1 minute, or until cheese is melted.

Place a burger with toppings on each bun and serve immediately.

For The Burger Seasoning Mix:

Combine all dry spice ingredients and mix to incorporate. Use 1 tablespoon per pound of protein starter. Store remainder in an airtight container
