Grilled Peach Burger

INGREDIENTS

plant based protein

2 packs Pure Farmland Simply Seasoned Burger Patties
1 Tbsp of fresh thyme sprigs, roughly chopped
1 Tsp of freshly cracked pepper
2 Tsp of garlic salt
1/2 Tsp of smoked paprika
2 Tbsp of freshly minced garlic or 1 teaspoon of granulated garlic
3 Peaches, thickly sliced
1/4 – 1/2 Cup of bourbon
1/2 Cup of brown sugar
4-5 Ciabatta buns, toasted
+Onions, lettuce, and swiss cheese for topping

DIRECTIONS

In a medium bowl combine sliced peaches, bourbon and brown sugar. Set aside for 30-60 minutes to soak in flavor and release fruit juices. Reserve juiced in bowl. 

In a large bowl combine thyme sprigs, pepper, salt, smoked paprika and garlic and season your Simply Seasoned Burger Patties.

Heat grill to medium – high heat and grill patties for about 8 minutes, turning once after juices appear on surface.

Baste burger sides with peach juices. Melt cheese on burger tops for 1-2 minutes. Arrange toppings and bourbon grilled peaches and top with ciabatta bun.
