16 oz. chopped & browned Pure Farmland Simply Seasoned Protein Starter
2 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
2 Tbsp. minced, uncooked red onion
2 cups of uncooked broccoli
2 large eggs
¾ cup milk
¼ cup half-and-half cream
¼ tsp. Italian seasoning
¼ tsp. table salt
⅛ tsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
Garnish with chopped cilantro
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Coat a 9-inch glass round pie dish with cooking spray.
Heat Pure Farmland Protein Starter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Break apart with spatula and cook until moisture has evaporated and product browns; about 12 minutes.
In a large pot of boiling, salted water, cook broccoli until slightly tender
Drain and rinse broccoli with cold water. Dry and toss broccoli in the 9-in round pie dish along with mozzarella cheese, grated parmesan, onion, and protein starter.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients until frothy; pour into pie dish with broccoli mixture.
Bake until the top is puffed and browned, 50-60 minutes; remove from the oven.
Sprinkle with any cheese of your choice and garnish with cilantro; cool 20-30 minutes before slicing into 6 pieces.
