1 Package Pure Farmland Simply Seasoned Protein Starters
2 cups uncooked short-grain white rice
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon gochujang (or 1 tablespoon sriracha)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
8 oz shiitake or button mushrooms, sliced
½ cup shredded carrots
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 large green onions, white parts removed
¼ cup thinly sliced cucumber
1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Cook the rice according to package directions.
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and gochujang and set aside.
Place Simply Seasoned Protein Starter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Break apart with spatula and cook over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes.
Add mushrooms and carrots and continue to cook, stirring frequently, for 7-9 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in soy sauce mixture.
Divide the rice into bowls and top with protein mixture. Garnish with cucumber slices, green onions, and sesame seeds.
