Growing good across America
At Pure Farmland, we believe that good things are grown from the ground up. That’s why we launched the Pure Growth Project — a program that supports community gardens in neighborhoods and preserves essential farmland where America’s food is grown.
We’ve donated $100,000 to community gardens so far—and it’s still growing!
Our mission is to:
- Grow urban areas’ accessibility to fresh produce
- Support green spaces in neighborhoods with limitations due to capacity and economic restrictions
- Increase the availability of locally grown, sustainable food sources, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, to communities across the country.
So far, we’ve provided $100,000 in grants for neighborhood gardens and eligible food projects in communities where access to fresh produce and green spaces is limited. And you can help us grow that contribution even more! Just take a photo of your own garden and submit it to our virtual community garden, and we will donate another $10 per photo—up to $25,000!
You can submit your photo and learn more about the community gardens we are supporting here.
We’re also protecting vital American farmland.
Every time you purchase a Pure Farmland product during 2020, we also donate the cost of protecting one square foot* of farmland. It’s part of our ongoing partnership with American Farmland Trust—whose conservation efforts have permanently protected more than 6.5 million acres of farmland and ranchland since 1980.
So, the next time you bite into our delicious burgers, meatballs, breakfast links and patties, dinner links or protein starters, you can feel good knowing that we’re growing something good, together.
*2.1 cents per purchase, up to $140,000. Historically, AFT estimates 2.1 cents is the cost of protecting one square foot of farmland. Purchase is not tax deductible.
